Proposal Ideas 7-9

Proposal Idea 7
If you're just too chicken then you can always send her flowers with a card that simply reads Marry Me? Make sure it is a really really large arrangement of flowers to make up for not asking in person.

Proposal Idea 8
Create a scavenger hunt which will lead her to either you or the ring. Try to incorporate items or references to important memories or mementos in your scavenger hunt to make it extra special.

Proposal Idea 9
Purchase a flat piece of wood roughly the size of a piece of computer paper and either paint or carve the words Marry Me onto the board, when cut the board up into jig saw like pieces and present to her as a puzzle that she has to put together.

Proposal Idea 6

In honor the Packer's playing in the Superbowl, ( go Packers) propose while enjoying a football game (college or NFL), stock up on guacamole, chips, pop, beer and snacks and when your teams ahead tell her your dedication to her is even greater than your dedication to the team and pop the question.

The Challenge & Proposals 1-5

Everyone knows one, the friend whose significant other just isn't ready, too lazy, just can't quite bring themselves to do IT, even after years have passed. Not that "It" girls and boys, been there done that I'm sure or hope, the big "IT"!! The calling her father, popping the question, down on one knee, praying she says YES!! it. Well when one such friend, whose lackadaisical significant other (Mr. H) went so far as to buy her a 365 inspirational messages calendar, lets just say I was inspired to offer him some inspiration in hopes that perhaps it's simply the logistics of it all that are holding him up. So, with the future Mrs. H's permission, we have what is 365 Inspirational Ideas to Propose, Mr. H's very own personalized one a day calendar, which unlike our traditional calendar began on February 1. This blog will track the 365 proposal ideas sent to Mr. H via text message daily. If anyone has any wonderful proposal experiences they would like to share or would prefer to simply commiserate over their own lackadaisical significant other, please feel free to comment and share. To catch everyone up, here are proposal ideas 1-5:

Proposal Idea 1
Cut out the center of a law book and place ring inside, nonchalantly ask significant other to look up a case for you in said law book, while she retrieves book and opens, get down on one knee. * Note, this may not be as effective if one or both of you are not lawyers but could perhaps work for other professions as well

Proposal Idea 2
Write MARRY ME in the snow in the yard. * Note you probably need to live somewhere with snow though you could modify for warmer locations and cut Marry Me into the lawn with the mower

Proposal Idea 3
Order chinese food and place the ring inside the fortune cookie, you can either give it to her at the end of the meal or start with dessert.

Proposal Idea 4
Spell Marry Me with her shoes, I would also recommend buying her a new pair of shoes to include in your spelling, possibly place the ring box in the new pair of shoes.

Proposal Idea 5
Put together a picnic in front of the fireplace, use a red checkered table cloth, picnic basket, wine, favorite foods or picnic foods, eat, drink, relax and propose.
